The center's ability to operate relies directly on the generosity of our benefactors. Gifts cover the rent, the utilities, and everything else that keeps open a place where women in a crisis can find help for themselves and their children. We are simply ambassadors of the witness to love given by our donors.

Parents earn credit through classes and spend it here. Donated items are exactly what fills those shelves. Call the center to ask what is needed most right now.
Help with the day to day
The center runs on ordinary supplies as much as it runs on baby goods. Any of these are always useful:

- Toilet paper
Please call before you come
Donors must call ahead. No drop-offs, please. Our hours are limited and there isn't always someone at the door to receive items. One phone call saves you a wasted trip.

What donors usually ask
Is St. Gianna's a nonprofit, and what is your tax ID number?
Yes. St. Gianna Pregnancy Resource Center is a 501(c)(3) corporation recognized in the State of Connecticut, and your donations are tax deductible as allowed by law. Our tax ID number is available on request from director@giannacenter.org.
How can I be sure my donation goes where I want it to?
Note the area you would like your gift applied to in the applicable section when you give. If you need a hand with that, email finance@giannacenter.org and we will make sure it lands in the right place.
Can I give through my will or my estate?
Yes. A bequest through a will, trust, life insurance policy, retirement plan, or estate is a lasting way to support the center. Email director@giannacenter.org to talk it through.
How can I get my gift matched?
Ask your company's human resources office whether it runs a matching gift program, and if so, request a matching gift form. Many employers let you download one, and you can search by company name for the specific steps. Fill out the employee section and mail the form to St. Gianna's at PO Box 511, Northford, CT 06472. We will do the rest. Matching gifts are a straightforward way to double, or even triple, what your generosity is worth.
