5th Annual Gala Dinner

Come Grow With Us

The Board of Directors brought back our annual dinner to celebrate you, our donors, and to celebrate life. We thanked everyone who has stood behind the center, especially our Knights of Columbus for their tireless support for life.

Guests saw what your support has made possible, and where the center is headed next. Photographs from the afternoon are further down this page.

Saint Gianna Life Award

The Knights of Columbus

Every council in Connecticut

We are honoring the pro-life work of all our brother Knights. For many years the courage and love of the Knights has been remarkable in the face of opposition. They honor the sanctity of life through countless sacrifices of time, talent and treasure for vulnerable pregnant women, at-risk families and the unborn.

Whether it is the Aid and Support After Pregnancy program, the Ultrasound Initiative, the annual March for Life or baby bottle fundraising, the Knights always give witness to the Gospel of Life.

Saint Gianna Life Award

The witnesses we have met

Since our founding in 2011, the center has looked for witnesses who offer hope to mothers, fathers, and children, born or unborn, who know deeply that all of human life is sacred.

“Modern man listens more willingly to witnesses than to teachers, and if he does listen to teachers, it is because they are witnesses.” St. Peter expressed this well when he held up the example of a reverent and chaste life that wins over even without a word those who refuse to obey the word.

It is therefore primarily by her conduct and by her life that the Church will evangelize the world, in other words, by her living witness of fidelity to the Lord Jesus, the witness of poverty and detachment, of freedom in the face of the powers of this world, in short, the witness of sanctity.

Saint Paul VI, Evangelii Nuntiandi, 41

At the annual banquet the people honored and those chosen to speak are some of the witnesses we have met.
